Top plate accessory replaces the top claws on the DB-8000-XL Strut Compressor. It allows for additional collapsing of the coil spring. It is used on strut assemblies with short coil springs having 3-4 coils. It increases coil spring compression enabling a short coil spring to be removed easily.
